During lockdown I've been working my way through my bread recipe book and have found our favourite bread buns.
My husband likes white, sweet, soft bread, forever complaining about soda, rye, and sliced shop bread. My 10 month old has just two teeth so can't chew crusts etc. I just like bread. Finally, I've found one that suits us all! The recipe technically wasn't printed in the recipe book I'm working through during lockdown, but was a news clipping from 1998 (!!) I'd stashed inside. What a find! Try it yourself, here's the recipe... I made eight buns (15 mins cooking) with this, but a loaf works well too. Lou x |
